Squash, Delicata

These tasty oblong squashes have thin, edible skins and creamy, sweet flesh. Cut in half lengthwise, stuff with grains, veggies and sausage, and roast for a complete meal! Or slice delicata squash into rings, sprinkle with olive oil and salt, roast, and serve as a side dish.

Delicata squash has a shorter storage life than other fall squash types but can still keep for weeks in proper storage. Do not refrigerate! Put delicata on your countertop or in your pantry until you're ready to use it.
