Fresh Herbs, Sage

 

Sage has a strong woodsy aroma. Use it in small quantities. It pairs well with poultry, winter squash and potatoes. Sage iced tea sweetened with honey is a farm favorite in the summertime. You can also fry it in butter for a snack! Sage will last for weeks when stored with cut ends in a jar of water in the fridge or on the countertop.
